Hashashin is the night psytrance solo project of Belgium based musician Quentin Van Houtte.
The guy started his musical journey in the early 90’s with his elder brother, as a drummer, playing metal beats in the basement. But he got violently hit by the virus of electronic music in 2004. Little by little then, he began to build a home studio and to focus all his energy on music production.
Since his first appearance behind the decks in 2009, Hashashin has been blasting all kind of imaginable dancefloor: forest, club, squat, beach, church, jungle, boat, castle, mountain, resort or bunker and shared the stage with all of his favourite artists.
He played epic live sets at monstrous festivals such as Modem, Hadra, Human Evolution, Wao, Space Safari, Lost Theory, among others. Always improvising his live sets and dj sets, in order to fit as much as possible with the vibe of the dance floor, and adjust the beat to the audience and circumstances.
He joined the Belgian team “Elektro Magnetik” in 2009, signed on “Green Tree Records” later in 2013 and freshly with “World People Prod” in 2017. Also resident for “High Frequencies”.
He released more than 30 tracks, including a full album, an EP and numerous participations on VA’s, made collab’s with notorious blasters like Synthetik Chaos, Virtual Light, Yabba Dabba, Wood Warden, Chakraview, Mind Pirates, Groove Hunter, Buckle, H-Sunrise, Skyhigh Pirates, Lucid Mantra,…
Hashashin’s music is between forest and fullon, between 146 and 150 bpm. It provides strong and groovy basslines, tribal hypnotic percussions, twisted organic synth textures and funny samples. It turns dancefloors into a powerful and positive energy explosion.

Dust has been releasing psychedelic trance music since 2008, always keeping on evolving and defining his cutting-edge, broad soundscape from night-time underground full-on tunes to daytime kick-ass dance floor stompers.

His tracks are imprinted with his easily recognisable touch and you can hear them pounding at most of the psytrance events around the globe. Many releases followed Dust’s debut album “I don’t like psychedelics” on Looney Moon records in 2012, such as “My friends love psychedelics” in March 2013, “Explicit Content” in 2014 , “Hippie Blaster” in 2016 togheter with Lunatica, “Loonacy” in 2017 with Obliviant and “Wanamatcha” last december.

Aside from his solo project, Dust has a role in many collaboration projects: Loonacy (with Obliviant), Foam (with Assioma) and Dustinface (with Phase) to name a few.
