The relationship between Fat! Records and Foamo is a symbiotic one. Back in 2010, Fat! boss Paul Arnold selected the West London producer to relaunch his label, and in return the imprint catapulted Foamo into the limelight.

In celebration of Foamo's time with Fat! and his ongoing success, the label has put together the Hits compilation, a collection of the producer's best work plus a host of remixes from the likes of Kry Wolf, Taiki & Nulight, Warrior One and of course, My Nu Leng. Taking the reigns for today's free download, the Black Butter duo infuse Foamo's 2012 track, 'Sherlock', with their signature twist of garage and grime.

Aurality started his obsession with music from an early age, learning the piano and guitar as a child. Throughout his teen years being mostly exposed to rock, punk, emo & metal he started to form a love of the heavier side of music. When he left school in 2006 he was introduced into the UK free party scene and started discovering all kinds of new genres of electronic music and was told that he could make his own at home.... and so, the journey began. The first few years, before YouTube tutorials existed for everything, were spent just figuring out what the program did and just tried to make any kind of noise he could. Slowly but surely after a lot of years of partying and soaking in influence from other producers and artists he started to hone in to his own sound. Blending multiple genre's together, creating a heavy electro sound that people were starting to notice. Then, throughout the years he played all around the UK and Europe, making new beats to satisfy crowds. But from around 2020 onwards he really doubled down on the creative side, making more and more unique music that truly was smashing genres to pieces. His last three albums, all showcase this ability. And now in the present day he still strives to create new things and is always wanting to challenge himself. Who knows what is coming next...!
