Advice for the DJs, artists and producers of our community: Fight for diversity in your local scene - diversity of music, gender/orientation, ALL OF IT.  Fight for your passion and your values. Don't settle for anything less than what you deserve, and curate a culture in your community that supports those values. Be compassionate for those who don't understand and educate where you can. We all start somewhere, trainwrecks aren't exclusively a DJ problem ;)
