Aurélien K, started mixing for trendy Parisian nightclubs 8 years ago, under the name DJ KAST. His was introduced to music very early in his life by his parents, both professional classical concert performers. Growing up in Paris, gave him the chance to become acquainted with all kinds of musical genres. As a teenager, he became interested by electronic dance music. Since, he kept working refining his musical skills and DJ expertise.
He mixed with
David Vendetta, Jean Jérôme Dan Marciano, Michael Kaiser, Fafa Monteco Yamina, Dim Chris, Dee Nice, Patrice Strike, Teo Moss, to name a few, and also the legendary David Guetta, for his last showcase at VIRGIN EMI.
In 2009, Aurélien K won the France Movida-Coronna DJ championship, which gave him the occasion to mix at the Ministry Of Sound London with Felix Da Housecat and Junior Jack. At that time, he was ranked among the top 5 best Movida Corona's European DJs.
Next year, Aurélien was a jury member of the Deejaylive 2010 competition, organized by Musiboxlive. On this occasion, he performed during the whole selection tour. He also mixed this year at a few dates of the selection tour of the same competition.
Last summer, he participated to the Fun Radio beach tour, with Dario et Franck D for the Movida-Corona 2010 selection.
Aurélien K now focuses on production work, several remixes and personal productions will be released very soon.
