This is an awesome Jazz rendition of Cyndi Lauper's song.  I noticed the title and thought, "there is no way that this song was recreated as a Jazz piece."  But, not only is the voice lovely and the musician excellent, this creativity and musicianship is outstanding.  Thank you for sharing.  Cheers!

Just jamming to our favourite artist's song, Jamie Cullum. We both played guitar.
We recorded this at 1 AM :p. I kinda wanted to sing a bit jazzy, i dont know how it turn out to be, what do you think? :)

Du jazz dans la chanson... Aurélie Taguet captive par le timbre singulier de sa voix. Jeune auteur-compositeur, bercée par Barbara autant que par Bill Evans ou Jobim, elle marie ses premières amours musicales pour créer son univers, émouvant et personnel. Les récompenses qui jalonnent son parcours reflètent d'ailleurs sa passion à la fois du jazz, de la chanson et de la musicalité des mots : finaliste du concours international Crest jazz Vocal, prix d'écriture au tremplin Debout les Mots, prix d'interprétation au festival Le Mans Cité Chanson...

Après un premier 5 titres "Aurélie Taguet trio", elle continue d'explorer, partager ses émotions avec le public, en s'entourant de trois musiciens très actifs de la scène jazz, Julien Lallier (piano), Simon Tailleu (contrebasse) et Donald Kontomanou (batterie), qui apportent leur son, moderne et sensible à la fois.

Sublimé par ces talentueux complices, le timbre naturel de sa voix fait vibrer ce qu'elle chante et peut toucher au cœur. 

Laissez-vous entrainer dans son univers poétique, entre mélancolie, profondeur et légèreté...
