Becoming the Story (A Broken Body isn't a Broken Person)

Sometimes you may find music that is created in the moment and from the atmosphere, through a coincidental encounter and that also has a foundation in musicians’ long-term co creativity, common intuition and friendship. The singer Jana Abzalon and guitarist Merje Kägu create precisely the kind of music described above. Stylistically a fusion of acoustic pop and indie- the music will move you and you will be touched by its sincerity and a feminine sound best imaginable. You can find tenderness, primeval sounds and the urge to rise above the ferial in search for the eternal rhythms and language.

Jana Abzalon graduated Georg Ots Tallinn music school studying pop-jazz singing and currently studies at EELK Institute of Theology. She is a soloist in SoundHouse, which has also been called the only drum and bass band in Estonia.

Merje Kägu is studying in her final year of bachelor studies in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre; she has also gained experience in Denmark, Netherlands and New York and cooperated in many different music projects in Estonia.
