They crawl, they crawl

"Produce a track taken to the extreme minimum. Use only pure waveforms (sine, sawtooth, triangle, pulse wave) and no effects. Restrict yourself to 5 voices." 

A very simple track, one oscillator tuned to a 5th above the others and static, four other oscillators each fed a pentatonic 5-note sequence, with each sequence having it's own unique clock. And that's it.

a combination of electromagnetic recordings to generate the feedback for the assignment and some old field recordings of birds squabbling at local sheds, with occasional environmental noises and artifacts. 
both tracks had lots of noise i tried to use as texture
added various layers of fx
all mixed in ableton

Wood Anemones (NaviarHaiku490)

For this project I made a recording in a small bathroom with open window with for different mics in 4 different positions. The mics were: built in mic of a Dell Latitude E7440 laptop, built in mic of a Huawei P smart smartphone, a Zoom H5 and a Zoom H2N in stereo surround mode. The recording was made simultaneously with all 4 mics. Then I played these recordings simultaneously in Ableton, muting and activating them in different constellations and slightly processing them with GRM tools Evolution, Reson and Band Pass. https://inagrm.com/en/store

My contribution starts and ends with „Nacre Voit“ and goes granular in between, using all samples by Marcus Fischer in their entirety. Added a field recording of a recent party, which seemed fitting.
