Ilinx is a collection of tracks resulting from sound explorations carried out between 2020 and 2024.
During these years, the compositions were influenced by theoretical, visual, and sonic research. These focused on altered states of consciousness (hypnosis, lucid dreaming, sensory deprivation), psychophysical phenomena (otoacoustic emission, phosphene), the role of mental projections in the process of reality-making (perception), and the role of the imaginary in politics (ideology, distraction, alternative). These pieces are infused with these questions and focus on the induction of psychic states, suggestion of imaginaries, and perceptive confusion.

Entering a Cloud

Arne’s Yellow Bucket is a monthly experimental mix by sound artist Boris Allenou for EHFM. 

Tom McMorrow Shaw (Tub Singer) is a sound artist and composer who seeks to create music that is extracted from the sonically malfunctioning and disturbed. Inspired by an acceptance of the noisiness of our everyday surroundings, his compositions focus on the detailed serenity of noise that can be generated through the repurposing of second-hand mixing boards as musical instruments.

Arne's Yellow Bucket is a large dirty yellow bucket abandoned on the path of a Norwegian mountain. Full of thoughts, sounds, feelings, contradictions, bits, waves and memories, ‘Arne’s Yellow Bucket’ explores textures, tones, places, roles, meanings, interactions and spaces with diverse materials. From drone music, to experimental electronic, field recording, ambient, music concrete and noise this show is an ode to the exploration of the sonic eco-system of different era, area and aerial.

This time, the most latest the three of us did.  Was almost finished last year. But needed a few more brushstrokes of bass, and some mastering. In our humble opinion a state-of-the-art Glitch n Dub, a track that we ourselves really enjoy listening, dreaming, and laughing too. 🙂‍↔️ 😄 Sometimes it gives us the spooks. 🫨
