This track is produced only using presents included in my SOL Decent Sampler instrument, with no additional effects. The instrument uses 40 days of solar radar data measuring changes in the sun's surface. This was sped up 42,000 times to bring it into the audible range. I loaded two of these data sets into Steinberg's Padshop, tuned them to a musical note and used granular synthesis to create deeply textural endless morphing waveforms.
The Michelson Doppler Imager satellite data prepared by A. Kosovichev, Solar & Heliospheric Observatory, a project of international collaboration between ESA and NASA to study the Sun from its deep core to the outer corona and the solar wind.
