Life and Death founder Manfredi Romano aka DJ Tennis debuts on Aus with ‘Repeater’ - here he delves deep into his own cosmos creating two cuts that are uniquely spacey whilst playful and powerful. DJ Seinfeld needs no introduction. His DJ Kicks mix and debut album for Ninja Tune have both been critically acclaimed. His ravey mix of 'Repeater' is a tension builder, his version simmers away for seven minutes patiently dropping metallic stabs and detroit fm synths licks. Manfredi’s career spans over two decades as agent, manager, promoter, label owner, dj and producer. His releases are few and far between so, it’s an honour for him to trust us with his art.

The latest single taken from No Fantasy Required, “Blondes Have More Fun,” exemplifies Tiga’s knack for deceptively deep songwriting and lush production. It is accompanied by a trio of remixes from contemporary electronica royalty: prolific Swedish producer on-the-rise Jonas Rathsman, international house and techno breakout, The Black Madonna and finally Running Back boss Gerd Janson, 

The Gerd Janson “Go Acid Dub” will get it’s own release alongside inspired “Elevation” and “Alternate” versions of the title track by Tiga himself. Tiga said of the Janson mix, "my best friend Gerd delivers a monster acid house party jam. pony tail slammer.”. Janson modestly replied, “(I’m) Flattered to be asked by the one only Tiga to lay hands on him and his voice, while being unable to supersede his original, the remix efforts resulted in an "acid dub" that tries to toughen things up. Thank you for listening”

DJ Tennis’ highly acclaimed Life and Death imprint continues to traverse sonic boundaries without limitation. Following onwards from Marvin & Guy's excellent "Solar Warriors" EP, the record label returns with a strong bundle of cosmic diversity, colorful cinematics and heavy-duty drum sequences by London-based producer Joseph Ashworth.

"Trooper" is the outcome of Ashworth's recent sound exploration where grit and excitement take charge rather than finesse and tidiness. In front of next week's release, we caught up with Joseph covering his studio approach, connection to Life and Death head honcho Manfredi Romano and remix artists Ron Trent and Sebra Cruz.
