The group known as Triangulion aims not only to genre-fuse and destroy what the common conceptions of electronic music can be from a studio-production standpoint, but also have developed new ways that the music can be presented in a live format. By bringing together the elements of live and programmed drums, keyboard/soft-synths and samplers, and strapping MIDI pickups onto electric guitars, Triangulion has brought an energetic and unique live element to the ever-growing Electronic Dance Music movement that has taken the world by storm.
No longer will outsiders be able to condescend that “that guy up there is just pressing play.”
Triangulion turns that notion on it’s head, fusing trap, moombah, house, drum n’ bass, and electro into a visceral-live-dance-orgy that carefully navigates between the ethereal and lascivious by marrying instrument and machine.
