Megastructure for percussion ensemble is inspired by enormous architecture, such as the Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, the Vessel, the Oculus and the One World Trade Center in New York. The composition also draws inspiration from the Dyson Sphere, a hypothetical megastructure that surrounds a star and harnesses its solar energy.
