TR/ST is the musical project of Toronto artist Robert Alfons.

After years of extensive touring, and garnering glowing praise from top international critics at Pitchfork, VICE, and The Guardian UK for the 2012 Juno-nominated debut album 'TRST', the follow up album 'Joyland' will be released by Arts & Crafts on March 4, 2014.

'Joyland' is an eruption of guts, eels, and joy.

This incredible remix he did of Efterkang's song Raincoats was part of a remix swop, where Efterklang remixed his song Tide in return. Attached to the swop was a also an artwork contest, where the winner's artwork would be used for the iTunes release of this remix swop. i first heard iamamiwhoami at a restaurant in london a few years ago.  after hearing them i emailed my manager, eric, and asked 'have you heard of this band iamamiwhoami?' and he wrote back, 'yes, we manage them'.  

when they asked me to do a remix for them i happily said 'yes', as i'm a fan of theirs.  and when i heard the song they wanted me to remix i realized that i didn't want to deconstruct it and change it, but rather just add melodic and structural elements to it, to enhance what they'd already done.
