AUT2M arrives on Forgot Imprint his cassette 'Muziek Voor Muren' or 'Music For Walls'. An ambient album with each track dedicated to a different type of wall or structure.
Walls contain many things inside of them; whispers, secrets, conversation, private moments, happiness, sadness, joy, frustration, anger, and love.

'Onwetend' is a beautiful track full of piano and field recordings of crackles that recalls Haroumi Hosono's 'Watering A Flower'.

Cassette will release later this month as an edition of 50 with an 11 page foldout J-card featuring original photos of various walls taken by the artist.

AUT2M is a Dutch artist well known for his releases on Dream Catalogue which alternate between destructive bass heavy dubstep and beautiful claustrophobic cyberpunk influenced ambient portraits.  This mix was made exclusively for zenevloed to celebrate his latest release 'Muziek voor Muren'.

Muziek voor Muren or simply “Music For Walls” is an evolutionary step in the young artists career, essentially a concept album reflecting different types of walls, the release accompanied with post cards of various snap shots of walls and all of the different textures and colors that inhabit them. 

When listening to the record the listener can hear influences ranging from Hiroshi Yoshimura to Oval to SND. Haroumi Hosono’s influence can definitely be heard in this record, a beautiful, minimal contemplation on the social function that boundaries and architecture play in our lives and how they accommodate our roles.
