This first release by Alexander Remus is completed by two wonderful remixes by Claudia Hiller, who is also a young offspring artist from Leipzig and Sascha Braemer, whose name stands for finest music productions.

Lonely Spirit

After making his debut on the very first Prospekt EP two short years ago, we are proud to have Gary Burrows as part of the Respekt family, and to welcome him back for his fourth outing on the label.
'Something You Need' is classic Burrows, with a rave-inspired riff and bassline married to a classic vocal snippet and pummelling drums. Hungarian duo Steam Shape take on the mantle of remixing the beast, and do so with acidic aplomb.
Track two is another vocal led cut in the form of 'Keep On'. Slightly (but only slightly!) more laid back than the A-side, this one brings in lush pads to add another layer to the formula. The second remix comes courtesy of Luca De-Santo, who whizzes up the parts with some nasty saw riffs and sharp percussion.
