UMEK’s 1605 kick starts 2022 with a fiery two track techno release from label favourite Mha Iri, who dropped her 1605 debut on one of the label's mixed artist releases in 2021, and the success of that track led to three solo EPs plus a collaborative track made with UMEK called “Watchers of the Sky”.

Mixmag Adria premieres the second track, "Resistance", another rollercoaster of a track that delivers a white-knuckle ride that switches between the brutality of the pounding percussion, and spine-tingling euphoria of the breakdowns. Augmented with a grinding bass texture, this monstrous techno track is perfect for the dance floor.

The second round of the Rave The Planet Parade's anthem remixes is here! As you might have already guessed, this selection is just as diverse and dancefloor friendly.

First to start things off is Drumcode and Terminal M artist Patrik Berg, who knows exactly how to turn the original into a perfect peak-time DJ tool, as he performed on the main Rave The Planet float at the parade!

Following Patrik's remix is another techno burner by Beatport Top 100 Techno artist, LA-based Marie Vaunt. Her interpretation leans more towards an underground techno classic that will make the club walls sweat!

Last but certainly not least, we have a remix from the winner of our Music In Africa X Rave The Planet remix contest! The jury - consisting of the full Rave The Planet team and the original artists A*S*Y*S & Kai Tracid themselves - had no doubts. The winner is Nairobi-based, pioneering Kenyan Afro House duo: Dylan S & Foozak who have turned the anthem into a real soulful, groovy and melodic house gem.

All proceeds from the Rave The Planet Supporter Series sales go directly into Rave The Planet's non-profit aims to protect techno culture as a UNESCO Intangible Heritage and to bring back the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade with a new 'big techno parade' again in 2023.

Stiv Hey has also featured on labels including Respekt Recordings, Harthouse and SCI+TEC.
A popular DJ booking in Europe and other parts of the world, Stiv Hey’s tracks have also picked up support from many of techno’s elite ranging from Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth and Adam Beyer just to name a few.

The extended intro of “Awaken” builds ambient tension, before the percussion of “Extreme” lifts the intensity with its deep hypnotics. “Returning To Here” closes off the EP with hints of euphoria that cut through its ominous atmosphere underpinned by a thumping kick drum.

There’s nothing clearer and straightforward than the message of Drumcomplex’ new release, "Techno?!" 

Kicking things off with a tense, slow-burning bassline accented with glitchy bleeps, the title track centers around an eponymous vocal loop as it unfolds in a dance-inducing frenzy. "Raw" is an upbeat take on rolling techno, made to keep energy flowing with its onwards rhythm and scintillating synths. Rounding off the release, "More Groove" unveils a stripped back approach, where ominous pads intertwine with acid-tinged elements into a stirring and memorable track.
