ROMEO:BUTCHER is an underground producer and dj from Cork in the south of Ireland, known internationally for original remixes and cross genre productions. ROMEO:BUTCHER has played alongside acts including; STRAY(IVY LAB), YOUNGSTA , OM UNIT including many more. A founding member of Evolution drum and bass in ireland and original member of SUB:ERA(Jet Li-Phase2) featuring heavyweight acts like DBRIDGE, CALIBRE, ,GOLDIE, TRAXMAN(teklife).
Producer since 2007 and dj since 2011.

Sessions Sonores were born from a desire to open a window on the world of electronic music. The concept is based on three main pillars: discoveries, meetings and sessions.

First of all, the discoveries bring together our selection of EP and LP reviews, growing and recognized labels, record stores always ready to unearth nuggets for our pleasure, festivals & clubs with eclectic posters, articles around vinyl as a mythical object, the history of electronic culture, cutting-edge literature as well as party guides and diaries.

Then, the meetings revolve around written or filmed interviews. We are truly going to meet the key players who bring electronic culture to life: DJs, producers, label owners, event organizers, promoters and even volunteers without whom many events would probably not be conceivable.

Finally, the sessions bring together our selection of podcasts and mixes in order to provide the sound layer to listen to at home, with friends or on the way.
