Exciting rising talent Oscar L makes his debut on Truesoul.

The Spanish artist has been whiling his craft for over a decade, with recent standout releases on Suara and Elevate. He’s inducted into the pantheon of Truesoul artists with a plump three-tracker titled ‘Konfusion’, the cuts featuring in recent episodes of Drumcode Live and marking Oscar L as one to watch for fans. 

The title track ‘Konfusion’ is a punchy peak-time cut, packed full of energy that’s driven by a tension-inducing build up, while still maintaining the essential groove-ridden appeal that Truesoul is renowned for. A track that encapsulated the delicious chugging swing of Adam Beyer’s recent Cavo Paradiso gig in Mykonos. The package ensures its versatility with ‘Together’; With a cheeky ‘90s house vocal, stunning subterranean drums and rousing atmospheric break that proved a stunning highlight when Beyer dropped it at Loveland Festival in August. Concluding with ‘Synesthesia’, the track is marked by fierce drum work and a rippling dubby bassline, a rich sensory stimulation for the eardrums, staying true to its name.

As if Coyu hasn't given Skint enough with his 2011 floor filler remix of “X-Press 2 - Muzik Xpress”, he's back again to pay homage to one of the greatest and most celebrated Skint releases of all time. Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now.

Coyu takes the iconic string / sitar loop, laces it with a shimmering hi-hat rhythm over a pounding kick drum and punctuates it with choral stabs, to create a funked up club banger that manages to retain all the drama of the original. Take that dance floor; see if you can better this. Hands will be lifted, feet will be stomped and parties will peak.

Can anyone contain the possibilities of this track? We don't think so. It's stamped its place in dance music history and who better to reaffirm its position than Suara boss man, Coyu.
