Is that too high-level as a theme? Probably! Summarized best through inclusions of Condry Ziqubu, Canada's own Martha and the Muffins, Esse Agesse, and Johnny Clegg (the latter is questionable and it's on the scratchiest vinyl, so forgive me).

He had a proficient hand in some of the most essential and affirming parties that have left their print on LA lore: Unlock the House with Doc Martin, Sarcastic Disco with DJ Harvey, Sunny Side Up, Sound Of Volume, and many others, both new and old. He maintains a dominating presence with a tuned ear on the warehouse floor.
