Lopaire, a short musical biography

In my early youth I started to play keyboard and create melodies, loops and sequences. Influenced and inspired by electronic music and artists like Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, and Jean-Michel Jarre and in last time very strong by Schiller. 

After more than 10 years break I restarted to create music in a mini home studio consisting of a notebook with some digital audio workstations and a midi keyboard. 

I like to mix different styles in my tracks without thinking in music categories.  So, it can happen that there is track with chill out and ambient sounds together mixed with atmospheric elements and added with trance, electro pop or slow downed dance beats and grooves. I love sound layering and interleaving in tracks to create a certain mood and atmosphere.

I hope you will enjoy my music and like some tracks. You are always welcome to comment and send me your feedback, suggestions or just a message about other topics.

Thank you all for the comments, likes and reposts I got in the short time I am here. I have always an open ear for other sounds to get inspired. I will try to listen to your songs, comment and repost my favorite as much as I can.

Los Angeles based DJ and producer Chris Alvarez (Akashic Records) made his DJ debut in 2010, transitioning his love of heavy metal to techno.

As an artist, Chris has generated a consistent tech-house sound that is uncompromising and unconventional, with dark undertones. His authentic signature style has secured him gigs at Sound Nightclub and Exchange LA alongside Cocodrills, Olivier Giacomotto and Black Coffee. Chris’ live sets never conform to current trends, adhere to assumed rules, and always leave the underground dance scene wanting more. 

Some of Chris' main influences come from artists:  Paco Osuna, Sinisa Tamamovic, Maceo Plex,  Adam Beyer and WYHT NOYZ.
