Biography
Forest People is the alter ego of young deejay and producer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Lakic. Born and raised in the small town of Prnjavor, Dragan first got in touch with electronic music trough a friend who gave him an album of Mauro Picotto. His interest in techno and minimal music grew fast and he soon discovered the beautiful world of electronic music. After some parties Dragan got to know the right people and started mixing records in 2004, and soon playing in few towns of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It did not take long before Dragan started producing tunes and soon proving to be a natural talent, his techno is starting to get recognition from deejays and producers from all around the world. Dragan Lakic aka Forest People has released music on many different labels,to name few of them: Resopal Schallware, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, DMOM, Darknet, Labrynth, Planet Rhythm, 43Recordings, Sick Weird Rough, Genesa, Brood Audio, Frequenza, Capsula, Driving Forces...

Biography
Rocco Caine is definitely an art obsessed producer/DJ, who knows, maybe one of the most art oriented in the German electro and techno scene. His passion for all kinds of artistry started to appear very early in his life, with the main interests being painting, sculpture and above all, music!
As a kid, he enjoyed playing different instruments, but soon discovered the power of computer-aided sounds. This discovery changed everything, from there on, his focus was on getting to know the different genres of electronic music, experimenting with new sounds using all his creativity, musicianship and mixing it with a natural sense for trends. It didn't take long for him to find his own path and style, a style unmistakably inspired by the techno sound he loves most.
Never lacking in enthusiasm and perfectionism, he pushed himself to go a step further, deciding to learn about the techniques and technologies that go with the production of sounds and tunes on a professional level. Giving birth to an amazing and absolutely unique mastering technique that from then on will become part of his work, the Rocco Caine sound was born!
The result of that new challenge is clear, every single track manifested by Rocco Caine is recognisable not only by his Cainish style but a clarity and precision that retains the deepness and intensity of his frantic bass lines, whilst still transmitting the heaviness of dub and techno beats!
The sound he created has a constant growing number of fans in front and behind the mixing tables, that has led to really interesting projects with great names of the German and international scene.
DJing has always been a passion for Rocco, utilising 4 decks to fulfill the desire of endless nights of dancing, taking the night owls on an amazing journey through music.
He consistently delivers sonorous effects and experimental rhythmic breaks that melt together with lightness and virtuosity, inviting everyone to an odyssey in the meander of light, sound and darkness.
But above all, what makes Rocco Caine unique is his modesty that he’s never lost over the years… his philosophy is and remains quite effective: Don’t fly too far up, but go as far as you can and if you can even a bit further…!

Hi there again its Saturday the 21th of January 2017 and nice you tuned in again on the Drone Podcast show. Sorry for the delayed podcast this week, we had some technical issues which made it impossible to release on time. But promise we'll make it worth your while. Instead of our 2 weekly podcast we will deliver a podcast almost every week or even more! So keep an eye out for our new podcasts on Drone Existence.

To start this week we want to thank the man behind "Intelligent Division" collective Deraout that did our last podcast No.65! What a steady and strong mix he delivered us, we enjoyed every bit of it!
On this week we travel back to Italy where so much techno talents come from, like these two friends. These friends share the same name Bruno and perspective on how their techno should be: straight hard kick driven, dark and psychedelic with industrial and acid influences that make their sound like the rave sound from the 90s.
They have released a number of EP's on labels like Scuderia, TheAboveRecords, Monolith Records and Asteroid together with artists like NoneoftheAbove, Artik and D.Carbone to name a few.
And the 4th of February they will play at Artefact in the Poema raw Utrecht, Netherlands. Where they will share the stage with Tomohiko Sagae, ONTAL, Shrouds and 74185#.

BR1002 born like a project created by two Italians guys Bruno di Berardino and Bruno Ruggieri. They met each other working for Ribbon club in Terracina and having the same musicals tastes they decided to work to this collaboration searching for the perfect sound : Acid techno, dark and psychedelic; hard kick straight to come a brick from industrial influences derived rave 90s.

These Techno Minded Heroes are part of the driving force behind the Vault sessions events in Amsterdam, Which they brought top-notch name’s like Surgeon, Exium, Truss, Headless horse man, Pearl, Ontal, Regis, UVB, SNTS, Scalameriya to this fine city and even partnered up with Tresor for their 25 Years tour.

Most recently they teamed up with Tommy four seven to bring the renowned Berlin based party and label 47, to Shelter, the newest underground location in amsterdam. We went there and it was a blast! And for their next edition on king’s day, the dutch national holiday, they are bringing the illustrious Token records to Shelter. So if you ever planned to go to Amsterdam, this is the day you go! Because it’s 2 birds with one stone, you get the king’s day madness combined with one of the most anticipated events of the year!

Besides all this they have been racking up gig’s the last few years in and around Amsterdam, illegal and legal, Solo and as a duo, So if you ever see them on a line-up, just go and know you’re in for some quality techno!

Biography

Lexed: 
Alexander van Zweden, born in Blaricum, presently based in Amsterdam and beter known as LEXED.
Co-owner and founder of THEBARKINGDOG, a music platform that brings a slightly different sound of various artists.
As a boy he was raised with music so it was no suprise that he felt extremely comfortable in the music scene. 
It all started in an attic in ’t Gooi’. Just a couple of speakers and some friends. It didn’t take long for LEXED to develop a passion for minimal and electronic music. And so it was unavoidable that he would buy his own decks and start to experiment with the music that he loved. It didn’t take long before he played anywhere he got the chance to show of his unique tech-house sound. But after a while he felt that even tech-house didn’t satisfy his need for banging music. So eventually he ended up in the techno scene, which wasn’t a big leap from the tech-house scene.
Nowadays when people see the name LEXED they think of the dark and deep techno sounds that he brings, the kind of sounds that gets you going and keeps you going, all night long. 18 years old and playing at several clubs and events, LEXED is on his way to become a well recognised name in the techno scene

Phobia: 
Phobia is a hybrid dj/live act formed by a collaboration of two young electronic dj’s and producers. On stage, they present music that seeks for different depths in different styles, reliant to the time they play and the artists they are with. Their vision when they produce are nonetheless equal; they explore different tonal and rhythmic grounds in the area of electronic music. These differences are reflected from a range between deep and liquid to dark and rough. In the long run, this variety in their productions and sets will keep the audience triggered and thrilled in different ways. They have released on labels like Genesa and Labrynth and there is many more to come from this promising duo.
