In Absentia No.2 // Un`Estate Di Fantasia con Mr Fantasy

The artist Justine has been on my radar for several years now.  Most of her releases have seen some form of rotation over the years. Just check out any of her works and you'll soon see why! Born in France, Justine Neulat has few memories of her childhood that do not involve music. A descendant of minimal wave, she is logically oriented towards that punk attitude and EBM vibes. 

Justine is Co-founder of Deux Control a project with her husband Edoardo Cianfanelli (Rodion) the couple produced music at the crossroads of hot and cold, stuffed with timeless melodies and harmonies to melt any melon on the dance floor.

Now settled in Rome with her better half, Justine is working on the release of her next solo album scheduled for the end of the year.

Next up on Carhartt WIP Radio is DJ and producer @djnobu_bitta. For almost two decades, he plays a pivotal role in the development of Japan's electronic music scene, constantly pushing the limits of techno in his DJ sets and at his long-standing party serial “Future Terror”. 

Since 2001, he has also released an array of music, comprising ambient, abstract industrial, house, and techno on imprints such as Rush Hour’s sub-label No 'Label', Kobe-based Grasswaxx Recordings, and his very own label, Bitta, launched in 2012. 

For Carhartt WIP Radio, DJ Nobu prepared a Bitta mix that is both “unique and psychedelic" in order to give the listeners the full flavor of his very special mind-expanding techno craftsmanship. As ever, we also sat down with this month’s host, to chat about the first records he bought, his ongoing "Future Terror" party series, and his favorite spots in his hometown Chiba. Today I'm so happy because we have one of the best dj's of the electronic scene in Brazil, I am talking about Caio T @caio-t based in São Paulo, Brazil (Gop Tun) (Dekmantel Selectors) @goptun

I met Caio T at a Dekmantel Soundsystem party in Apolo (Barcelona)  where he was playing with his collective Gop tun! I remember that they played my favorite song 1000 Ohm - Love In Motion (1984), for me it was a luxury that day to listen to such a complete set at the same time as a club bangers!!
Sometimes it's difficult to find Dj's with mystic mixes.... he does perfectcly that... his essency it's just amazing. Listen his mixes in his profile. @caio-t

Having played through some of the most diverse environments and atmospheres, such as festivals and parties like Dekmantel Selectors Croatia, Time Warp São Paulo, Carlos Capslock and several others worldwide, besides the already legendary Gop Tun parties, Caio T shows repertoire and energy to fill virtually any space and this he has shown during his gigs in Brazil or touring to Europe or United States. A hollow on the northeastern coast of Brazil? An abandoned shed in the center of São Paulo? A party in the Amazon rainforest? If you've been to any of these moments, you surely remember Caio T moving from one side to the other and the dancers following his pace while he spreads good music and vibes all over the dancefloor.
