Following the success of Henri Bergmann's first 'Interstellar' Various Artists collection, Automatik returns with ‘Interstellar VA II’, featuring 15 captivating tracks that span a wide spectrum of forward-thinking club sounds. At the heart of this release is Automatik’s mission to highlight veteran talents and up-and-coming producers, fostering a dynamic platform for innovative music.

Among the contributors to the compilation are well-known underground names such as Eze Ramirez, HEÎK, Alphadog, Fat Cosmoe, and Mila Journee. Each artist brings their own unique sonic flair, delivering standout tracks that solidify Automatik's presence in the scene. Henri Bergmann herself features prominently, contributing two of her own tracks, including the lead single ‘How To Get Lost,’ which will be released ahead of the full compilation. Her second contribution is a powerful collaboration with Brazilian DJ Mila Journee, further exemplifying the global scope of the release.

‘Interstellar VA II’ continues Automatik’s tradition of curating boundary-pushing electronic music, providing a platform for emerging talent to shine alongside established names. The compilation is a carefully selected mix of deep, energetic cuts designed for the dancefloor. Interstellar VA II [AUTOMATIK]

Wennink’s new four-track EP, ‘Wolf In My Clothes’ marks the singer/producer’s debut release on Automatik. Based in London, Wennink’s vocals and productions can be heard on some of the most recognised labels in dance music including Afterlife, Crosstown Rebels, and This Never Happened. Often teaming up with his DJ/Producer wife Henri Bergmann, Wennink has previously performed as Anaphase and also lent his talents to artists like Rinzen, Oliver Koletzski, Pete Tong & John Monkman.

Wennink’s three new originals allow for listeners to see a more artistic side to the producer’s evolving discography. Best known for his vocals on some of melodic house and techno’s most recognisable tracks, Wennink’s songwriting ability and rich melodies allow him to dig deep into his creative arsenal.

Not to be forgotten, the fourth track on the EP is a club-ready remix from Rinzen of the EP’s title track. The Los Angeles-based producer and DJ’s melodic and cinematic soundscapes can be heard in his 2024 debut album on Lane 8’s This Never Happened. Already receiving incredible DJ support from Adriatique, Rinzen's ’Wolf In My Clothes’ remix adds the closing touches to Wennink’s EP.

Italian DJ Timelapse makes his return to Henri Bergmann’s Automatik label with a four-track EP. Serving as follow up to his single ‘Heroist’ on the latest Automatik VA, the ‘Division’ EP is a diverse group of songs that draw inspiration from melodic house and techno, indie dance, and house. With industry support from Adriatique, Rufus Du Sol, Layla Benitez, and Henri Bergmann, Timelapse’s ‘Division’ is ready to hit the dancefloor.

HEÎK - Equilibrium [AUTOMATIK]

Henri Bergmann and Wennink, the dynamic husband-and-wife duo are back with their latest melodic release, ‘How To Get Lost’. Set to drop on November 8 via Bergmann’s own Automatik label, the duo’s new record is a bold new offering from Bergmann and Wennink, one that perfectly encapsulates their forward-thinking vision. An emotive journey driven by a fusion of trance, melodies, and techno, ‘How To Get Lost’ resonates long after the final beat.

The duo's previous collaboration on Crosstown Rebels, 'Guardian Angel' received widespread radio and DJ support, including being selected by Pete Tong as BBC Radio 1 Dance's Essential New Tune of the Week. Serving as the follow up to the duo’s successful 'Guardian Angel', ‘How To Get Lost’ promises to deliver a bold fusion of uplifting energy and a driving bassline woven into its fabric. The track explores the tension between control and surrender, rising melodic leads, and a 303 that nods to Bergmann's favorite elements of the underground scene.

“We wanted to do something dark, driving, and a bit grittier, incorporating some of my favorite elements of the scene,” explains Bergmann and Wennink. “It was all about finding the hooks—the rising lead melody and its bassier response—and building the track around those and the vocal. In a way, the track is a bit of a fond farewell to that melodic drama, as all the tracks we’ve been making since are different in their sound.”

Despite its grittier undertones, the warm synths from ‘How To Get Lost’ create a euphoric contrast to the more brooding basslines and textures. Wennink’s vocal line, ‘how to get lost without losing it,’ serves as a powerful hook that captures the thrill of letting go and embracing the unknown. “Getting lost is an exciting thing to do,” Wennink says. “It heightens your senses, and there’s an element of danger—something we all crave. That line could go in so many directions, but for me, it was about needing to escape ‘reality,’ to see how far you can take it.”
