Phillip Foxley is a songwriter and musician. He writes and produces multi-genre music for licensing or covers from his home studio in Conwy, North Wales, UK.

With influences from every corner of the world, Foxley has now released his own debut album entitled “I’ll Try ‘Till I Die”, an eclectic collection of original blistering blues rock guitar and soft acoustic and piano tracks written over the years. Foxley says “Every track on this album means so much and every note is from my very soul”.

“This album is like my musical life story. It’s also a ‘big’ album in that there are over twenty tracks on it already and, because I don’t intend to release any more albums, I just keep adding tracks to it as they are released”.

I make music to play with your brain chemistry and make you produce hormone signals. Tessa is a singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist , whose unmistakely dreamy sound and honest songs take you often back in time to explore inner emotions, on listening, and reflection, 

Songs with tales about War, love, heartbreak, loss, and heartfelt lyrics reflect the subtle harmonic and rhythmic approach to songwriting.

 Described early material described as smokey and sultry jazz and blues influences, evocative songwriter, Tessa is currently recording a Debut EP.

Raised on a farm in the hills of Waroona, Tessa Followed her cousins to piano lessons and was inspired to pick up the guitar at 14. 
Starting in her first band at 16 Performing in the City of Perth .

In 2012 Tessa Cyclone performed  a round of 5 exciting outdoor shows at the renowned annual Perth arts festival Fringe World  ,

 Then a after a 5-year hiatus to focus on work and study whilst still songwriting in this time , Tessa Cyclone has made a return in 2018 to perform in Perth and Currently Resides in Moscow, and Recently played at a university festival to 1000 people.

Tessa had played Support spots for Autopilot and Abbe May and several other Perth Artists. 

Tessa was invited to submit more songs to Dew Process Records after they heard her single , ''Hopeful'' in 2007 but due to too much style diversity she wasn't signed, although this has still been a cloud with a silver lining.

Beginning as a three piece electro-instrumental act in 2002, Astronaut has evolved over the past 6 years into one of Perth’s premier disco rock acts, incorporating live instruments and astonishing vocals.

Astronaut’s energetic live shows and hook-laden songs resulted in the band winning the “Best Live Electronic Act” WAMI (WA Music Industry) Award in 2006.



Their debut single “Invisible Man” was released in 2006 and the band supported national touring acts such as sonicanimation, Endorphin, The Panda Band, The Avenues, The Dirty Secrets and many more.

In 2009, Astronaut consisted of founding member Rhys Watson (frontman of  Dirtwater Bloom and B Movie Heroes), Lee Jones (frontman of Circuits of the Sun, Sun Orchestra and Spencer Tracey and player for Ruby Boots and Eskimo Joe), Ben Chase (producer/frontman of Leftwood, member of Smokin Motor, Core Element and Tribal Jury) and Nicholas Johnson (End of Fashion and Eskimo Joe)

The boys have forged a powerful combination spitting out electro, dirty disco and rock songs reminiscent of bands like Electric Six and The Killers.

 



Astronaut’s debut album This Is My Lazer Gun started initially as a bunch of recordings done by Lee and Rhys previous to 2006 that were bought to Ben Chase to further produce and mix. It was at that point that Ben was asked to join the band as keyboard player and they wrote 6 more tracks together, put a few in the archives and narrowed it down to a total of twelve tracks to go on the album.

Astronaut also enlisted the help of fellow WA musicians and songwriters including Jarrah McLeary (The Dirty Secrets), Shaun Sibbes (Sneaky Sound System), Malcolm Clark (The Sleepy Jackson), Mick Stevens and Rockit to bring their vivid, choral dreams to life on record and live.
