For us, there is no other festival like Fusion. And this year it was a really special one! 
What an honour to play after our longtime inspiration Frank Wiedemann on the mighty Sonnendeck stage Thursday night. The vibe was electric and we could really feel the energy of the sea of people vibing with us to our music. 

Thank you so much to the @3000-grad crew for inviting us, and to everyone in the crowd who made this set one of the biggest highlights of our career.

Fusion Festival 2023 | Sonnendeck

Dear listener,
finally this year, I managed to see the man burn!
In the weeks and months before Burning Man a lot of my friends kept on telling me how amazing it was and most of them would conclude their eulogy with something like: „Burning Man changed my life“.
Well, I can not certainly say that Burning Man changed my life, but what I know for sure is that my life changed afterwards ;-)
Very glad that I made it to this far away place and I hope to return next year.
I want to thank Lio and everybody at our nice camp and of course the robots who invited me to let their hearts beat according to my pace. It has been truly amazing. 
The only thing I really had to struggle with, that Sunday morning on the Playa, was the sunlight that made it almost impossible to spot anything on the display, so please please please you geeks out there, come up with something that can work in sunlight, because we all love the sun!

The dough starts rough, and after a few rolls, falls over itself, as it slowly starts to congeal. This piece is a flakey pie crust, in the school of Rhys Chatham or Glenn Branca. Set in 3 time, its 14 tracks were blind-recorded with the through-line of “record the same thing each time”. Obviously some variations emerged from the performances, and some from improvisation, and willful neglect. The crust gains its life from imperfections.

Seeing that huge sea of faces in front of me was so moving - all those people with their eyes closed, melancholic but smiling, exhausted yet still moving to the beat. What a view.
