I made this remix in tribute to Mr. Tomoyuki Tanaka aka Fantastic Plastic Machine, celebrating 30 years in the techno biz.

I was introduce to FPM during my freshman year in college back in 2000 when I was at a party hosted by a member of the Asian Culture Club there. After a couple of drinks, me and the host would have the most interesting conversations, and the topic eventually gravitated towards electronic music. Enthusiastically, he raves about and plays CDs from three Japanese artists/producers: Yoshiro Sonohara, Takako Minekawa, and Fantastic Plastic Machine.

After hearing this track (track 2 of his debut album) for the first time, I was instantly hooked and never let go.

And now, I present this remix as a way of saying...

I am a DJ/Producer based in New Orleans, LA, mixing and experimenting with various forms of electronic dance music. I enjoying finding obscure and uniquely composed EDM and love exposing them to various audiences, giving then an alternative perspective to the genre than to what they hear on the radio and other mainstream outlets.

I believe that EDM/IDM is more that feet movers. It's also about emotion and firing up the imagination. It's about taking mental field trips without the aid of hallucinogens.It's a genre that always inspires and fascinates me and I hope to share that by playing various cuts to share with the public and hopefully, develop cuts of my own.
