Originally, I was just playing this song at gigs as a sax feature (instrumental), then the hook came right to me when I was rehearsing it, and our Annie, the siamese cat, came into my studio, waddled and was giving me an earful of her cross-eyed sass! The rest, came pretty quickly, and it went on to be about the "girl next door" and who doesn't want to be like "Lil' Miss Annie Sunshine"? amiright?

This is my funk, and it's a doosy. Crazy horn riffs, are outrageous and STANKY. Deep organ and some saucy bass, with a nice laid back funky drum kit. Add some really funky clavichord, some wah, phasers set to STUN!

"Trunk o' Funk" - the name tells the story. This is a jam gone WILD! It's got improvised vocals about getting up to get down. Some crazy sax riffs, and a groove that will probably get you in trouble. The good kind (wink).
