somyu is a South Korean melodic/progressive house producer and DJ known for his dreamy, piano-forward sound and original compositions. Rooted in traditional Korean music through his time in the Cheonan Student Korean Traditional Orchestra, he transitioned into electronic production with a unique blend of classical sensitivity and digital creativity. His tracks invite listeners into immersive soundscapes where delicate melodies float over deep grooves—crafted with intention, emotion, and atmosphere. Influenced by the textures of melodic house and the drive of progressive rhythms, somyu’s music stands out for its lush harmonies and distinctive, piano-led identity.
