Die Orakel reveals Lake Lemuria EP by @poly-chain, a full-on electro emission loaded with relics of British 90s IDM. The pun intending Max For Death commences the sonic diffusion with booming bass drums, reverberating acid line, plus an elevating meandering melody. Latter qualities extend and modulate subsequently, in variations joined by slowly shifting atmospheric pads and fast paced electroid geostructures, rendering a polychrome four-track braindance-scape.

Miss Monique's Siona Records continues to lead the melodic revolution from the front with a fine new EP from Brigado Crew. It features three collaborative tunes - one each alongside MAC:ANNÂ, AFFKT and Crisstiano - and is another forward thinking offering.

Brian Harrison and Martin Kasall are Brigado Crew and they have released their music on top labels like Stil vor Talent, Sincopat and many more. They have played all over the world and impress again here.

First up they link with MAC:ANNÂ for Existence and lay down deep, rolling basslines with thunderous claps and drums overlaid with some scintillating synth lines that bring scale. It is then AFFKT who joins them on Python which is a deeply hypnotic roller with fizzing pads and crisp beats taking you higher.

The final collab is with Crisstiano on Kidness and this one has spoken word snippets over snappy drums that get you in the groove and keep you there as the deft synth lines shine bright up above.

These are superb melodic sounds from four contemporary tastemakers.

I created this track as an ending for one of my recent sets at a local rave we throw. It's just a group of friends with a lot of equipment, who love to get together and play music in the middle of nowhere. I've been closing my sets with Worlds Apart for a while, because it's a beautiful track; however for this one I wanted to do something different. After hearing Seven Lions and Jason Ross mix Worlds Apart and Me Tonight together, I explored the option of mixing one of the other group favorites to close out a set with, Rush Over Me. I think the three came together really well and I made it purely for the joy and happiness I hope it brought to my closest friends, getting to hear their favorite tracks re-imagined just a little bit.
