Skanda Sashti Kavacham or Kanda Sashti Kavasam (Tamil: கந்த சஷ்டி கவசம்) is a Hindu devotional song composed in Tamil by Bala Devaraya Swamigal (a student of Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai) on Lord Muruga, the son of Lord Shiva, in Chennimalai near Erode. Tamil contains many ancient hymns in praise of deities. Skanda Sashti Kavasam was composed in the 16th century. In the song has been composed in praise of the Lord, seeking to shower His grace.

This is one of the promotional tracks for my EP "Shanmata" which was released by Beat on Records.

Born into a family where both his mother and younger brother are skilled musicians. David Hellquist from Gothenburg, Sweden has always found that music/sound was his main focus in life. Starting in the year of 2008 with electronic music, he felt an eager to create twisting sounds and noises that had been bugging his head and only when he felt he accomplished it he could find peace of mind. The tunes may vary from Dark Progressive/Psygressive with a “twisted-tech-glitch”- touch to different E.D.M genres such as Techno, Minimal, Deep/Tech and House. Hellquist is sure to continue serving us psy-heads with his “digital-acid-deep-in-the-Swedish-forest”-kind of mind altering musical creations.

Well it's been a long time since I last did this! And I never intended the last time to be the last time. However, I find myself at a point in my life where far more of my spare energies need to be used for healing, and for growing in new ways. So this is the last time I'll be joining you to celebrate the beginning of a new lunar cycle through the musical magic of psybass - at least for the forseeable future.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you deeply for listening, for joining in this little experiment that has brought me so much joy and connected me with so many amazing people.
