Microcosmos presents the debut album of Translippers, “Herbalism”. This tincture of magic herbs will take you on a trip around the world in one hour.

The perfectly mixed dub rhythm will relax your body, and the atmospheric electronica will inspire you. Prepare yourself to discover an entrancing blend of cultures through distinct flavors of Scandinavian and African drums, ethno-jazz vocals, chants of Miao from China and Chukchi from Yakutsk, Eastern and Latin American percussions, Indian sitar and Arabic oud, guitar, and harmonica.

Translippers is a project of Arthur Mustafin, a composer and music performer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. In 1984 he gained experience in jazz and rock-n-roll bands, but this changed with his trip to India, where he seriously got into ethnical instruments. This led to Arthur incorporating these instruments into his own production, which significantly transformed his sound. 

As said by author himself, this album is an intricate attempt to return to childhood.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the deep flavor of “Herbalism”.

Stockholm based ambient downtempo producer Thomas Huttenlocher aka I AWAKE follows up his digital Ep release [ Birth ] with a full length album [ The Core ] 
Built as a journey of audio neural beauty through organic microcosms, electronic vortexes, deep, tribal beats and vast soundscapes, the album takes us on a pilgrimage of sounds, with scents of parallel lives, glimpses of the future and overlapping, coexisting dimensions. 

A superfine blend of psychedelic spurs, groovy bass lines and catchy melodies composed with the collaboration of Krister Linder, Fredrik Lundberg, Tara Devi and Planet Boelex. As a film soundtrack producer, I AWAKE is one of the key figures of Ghostfriend, a Swedish underground movement of creators with a "peculiar devotion to the present and strong love for the innermost". 

For the first time in Ultimae's history of releases, the artwork was created by famous digital artist and designer David Vineïs aka Sub88.

SATI is truly in a class of her own, having played in the techno and psychedelic scenes for over a decade.   Member of EXPO RECORDS, MANDALA BOOKING & PSY SISTERS , Sati has come up through the ranks to become one of London’s most prestigious psy-trance DJs.  Her dark, driving and full on sets leave crowds waiting on the dancefloor for her sets to begin. Her skills behind the decks have earn her an army of fans around the globe, including countries such as Sweden, Poland, Germany, Spain, Israel and Italy. If there is an underground psy event in London, you are most likely to see Sati on the line up!  Sati has also performed in some of London’s most iconic clubs such as O2 Academy, Brixton Academy, Ministry of Sound, and the once renowned Fridge club in Brixton.  She has also ventured into music production, and stormed the psy-trance Beatport chart to no.5 in 2014 with her debut EP ‘Yesta’ released on Panmusic Records.  Her talents extend to graphic design, and her psychedelic art is in high demand for party flyers and album releases. She is a freelance graphic designer for labels such as IONO, TECHSAFARI, EXPO, also working with NANO RECORDS, IBOGA, DIGITAL OM and many more.

In this month’s episode you can listen to STARLAB’s new live set.

StarLab is a project initialised by Bharat from New Delhi, India. Training in Indian Classical Music laid the musical foundations for Bharat at a very early age. Over the years, as a self taught Vocalist, Bass & Guitar player he gathered a wealth of experience touring and recording with his band for over a decade until he encountered the hypnotic sound of Psychedelic Trance Music at a beach party in Goa, India. This strongly affected his musical persona after which he began to teach himself synthesis & music production and project StarLab was born. In 2011 he went to California USA to study music and quickly became a popular DJ in the California scene and gained a lot of experience playing many local parties and festivals. On returning to India in 2013 he joined ranks with India’s premier record label Digital Om Productions as Live Act and since then he has gone on to make countless releases with the most well known record labels and perform in top festivals and venues in India and around the world in USA, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Portugal, France, Germany, Serbia, Croatia, Switzerland, Spain, Thailand, Nepal. These include Main Stage performances in famous festivals such as Universo Paralello – Brazil, Antaris Project- Germany, Shankra Festival- Switzerland, Exit Festival- Serbia, Electric Daisy Carnival – India, Sunburn Festival – Goa, Universal Religion – Nepal, Experience – Thailand and many more. In 2015, Manu decided that he was no longer able to live his joy in music only on the dance floor and he put on his first own equipment. After some long, lonely nights, he was allowed to flaunt his skills for the first time and knew how to convince. Growing up with greats like Daksinamurti, Dsompa, Eritas, Terraπ, or Mico X, Rustlerfari made the dancefloors in the Giessen district quake, then became part of the “Laws Of Nature” crew and secured a place in the line-up in renowned sheds like the MuK or Till Dawn , In early 2018, he made the international entry and has been a DJ on the English label “Woo-Dog Records.” With his dark, impulsive sets he manages to thrill the audience from the first to the last second and we can all look forward to the future.
