Loren X - Definitive Perception (sampler)

Gilbert Thévenet , the man and the legend, is behind Loren X and this legendary rare album 'Definitive Perception'. Originally released on Polygram and considered an innovative outstanding ahead of its time release from the early days of Europe's techno trance.
At the time this album was recorded, Gilbert (also known as Martin Cooper) was busy making music with artists like Laurent Garnier, David Guetta and Scan-X. They all grew up in the same backyard and shared their musical background and ideas. It is obvious that these collaborations with Loren X had an impact on their musical direction and further carriers.
Gilbert was known for using a wide range of equipment, while insisting on specific gear, including a unique customized synthesizer that was modified for this album.
After several Loren X titles on Trans'pact, in addition to releases in Italy and Belgium, Gilbert Thévenet has assembled 'Definitive Perception'. On top of this being the only Loren X album ever recorded. It is almost impossible to find a physical copy of the album. This re-release was fully remastered, and is now available digitally for the first time ever.

Avatar is the veteran electronic label, established back in 1997. Featuring some of the present and past most compelling artists.
The label and its sublabels released by Sony Music, Virgin, EMI and Universal Music. Some of its titles are considered canter pillars in psytrance and electronic.
Avatar Records was the first to release trance music locally in countries like India, Taiwan and Mexico

Asia 2001 has been producing music since the beginning of the last century's decade. Since the expression ‘trance music’ was first used. 
The first recordings started in 1991 and a year later the project started rolling. The first singles on compilations on Trans'Pact and several 12” vinyl.
All this is happening aside other mutual projects and collaborations with various DJs and artists incl. David Guetta.
In 1997, Asia 2001 was signed to Avatar Records after working with Avichay Avigal on various material on Asia 2001. 1998 brought the mega album 'Ama Zone', followed by 'Dreamland'. Both albums were successful worldwide and licensed to Sony Music. 
Asia 2001 has secured its place as one of the most popular and outstanding Goa Trance acts in the world. Performances aside Carl Cox, Robert Leiner, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Miles, Jennifer Lopez, have proved that Asia 2001 continues to be one of the influential till this very day.
'Contact' album on Avatar was also released on Universal Music. 
The recent release is a special remastered and expanded edition of ‘Abduction’ album that includes unreleased material.
The new Asia 2001 album includes unreleased material and studio works that Gilbert and Avichay have been working on.
It is scheduled for beginning of 2025.
