Heard this for the first time back in 2014 while living in Berlin and it totally blew my mind. Still remains one of my favorite mixes of all time, and every time I listen to it, I'm transported back to this very special time in my life.

Nearly 10 years later and this still sounds so fresh and compelling 🔥🙏🏼

Here I am again, a year later. It's been a decade now and I still find myself constinually and consistently returning to this mix. It's an annual ritual at this point, at the very least. Why does it resonate with me so much? I'm not totally sure, but this single mix has been a constant soundtrack over the past 10 years and nothing has ever came close.

This era coulda been kept alive by tale of us but they sold out

Out February 17th, the first Donky Pitch release of 2014 sees a return to the label for https://soundcloud.com/lockah. As a prelude to his forthcoming album, 'If Loving U is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Wrong' contains two fresh tracks that touch on classic electro, miami bass and rave whilst retaining that melody driven pop sheen that Lockah calls his own. Alongside sit two versions, stripped back takes on their respective originals loaded with tough bass hits and breaks.

As well as running his own Tuff Wax label https://soundcloud.com/lockah has released EP's on Mad Decent/Jeffreees, Mishka and last years 'Only Built 4 Neon Nites' on Donky Pitch, he collaborated with TasteTester for the Activia Benz label and has remixed Danny Brown, LiL TExAS and Jaw Jam. 2014 will see the release of his debut full length 'Yahoo or the Highway', out April 14th.

A circonstances exceptionnelles, mixtape exceptionnelle.
En ce qui nous concerne, nous étions tout simplement sans mot. Du coup on a préféré se réfugier dans ce qu’on sait faire de mieux : une mixtape.
On n’a pas vraiment eu envie de suivre « les codes » habituels c’est pour cela que vous entendrez de nombreuses voix appartenant à Charb, Cabu, Wolinski mais aussi Philippe Val. C’est aussi pour cela qu’on la publie ce mercredi, une semaine après les faits, jour de la sortie du journal des survivants. 
On a un peu fait l’intro au ressenti, comme elle est venue, sorte d’exutoire.
C’est donc la « Winter2015 » qui dure pas loin d’1h30 pour compenser avec le mois de décembre.
On a plein de choses à vous dire et des nouvelles excitantes à vous annoncer mais ça attendra la semaine prochaine.
Aux disparus, aux blessés, à la France, à tous.

Exceptional circumstances call for an exceptional mixtape. 
As for us, we were just speechless. That’s why we prefered to seek refuge in what we do best : making mixtapes. 
As we didn’t really want to follow the usual rules, you’re gonna hear a lot of voices, those of Charb, Cabu, Wolinski and Philippe Val too. 
That’s also the reason why we publish this mixtape today, one week after the events, for the publication day of the survivors’s newspaper.
The intro was made depending on our mood, just as it came, like a kind of outlet for our feelings.
So here is the « Winter2015 », which lasts almost 1h30, as a way to compensate for the last month. 
We have a lot of things to tell you and exciting news to announce, but this will be for the next week. 
To the lost, the wounded, to France, and to all of you.
