Paolo Martini's career spanned over 30 years when he started spinning in many prestigious clubs throughout Italy and exploring his ability as a producer releasing incredible tunes in the best labels. In Love Hangover he wanted to make an EP with an authentic house vibe but with a bit of funky flavor as well, so he started to work minutely on the rhythmic session and then spend some time playing and looking for the right bassline. Once he got them, those catchy loopy vocals on top did the rest and dressed perfectly with what we had in my mind. 'Love Hangover' and 'Needed Me' has been tested both over the summer, and the reactions couldn't be better.

Since it dropped last month, Claptone’s new single ‘In the Night’ has been picking up considerable stream, becoming Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1 and notching up a quick 1m Spotify plays. Now MK, Illyus & Barrientos and Lindstrom & Prins Thomas offer up three late-night interpretations of Claptone’s original. Detroit house legend MK goes deep and dark with great panache, whilst Glasgow’s Illyus & Barrientos once again deliver the kind of powerful peak-time club cut their name is becoming synonymous with. Finally, Norwegian’s Lindstrom & Prins Thomas spin the original into a 10-minute disco epic.

With spring time hitting up and summer season already on our minds, we, at elrow Music, continue doing what we know best to keep the eager ravers dancing: another banger EP of pure tech house sounds. Our 129th reference is delivered by a debuting British duo in elrow Music's ranks, Tuff London. They just handed us 'Got That EP', a two tracker with an added remix by Mancunian Mason Maynard.

The work opens with the title track, 'Got That (Original Mix)', a track with a nice progression, that builds itself adding more elements to the soundscape, with a deep and strong bassline that gives a powerful character to the song, along the groovy vocal loop that travels along the track, developing into a structure many will recognize thanks to the amazing samples used.

Then we have Mason's remix from the title track, 'Got That (Mason Maynard Remix)', in which the promising young producer takes the vocals and use them since the begging of the track with the same character, but starting with full force, and using the bassline with the same deep intentions, but giving the track a more danceable and techier progression.

Closing the EP, we have 'Move (Original Mix)', in which the duo builds up their narrative from scratch, with the same kind of structure as the opening title, with that 90s vibe that is created thanks to the vocals, yet the progression is more dancefloor orientated, making this a great transient track for any moment.

With another great delivery in elrow Music, we say goodbye to April and say hello to May. Summer is almost here, so stay tuned for big things we have under our sleeves.

Off Week is finally here! The most important week of the year for Barcelona's electronic music scene has finally arrived and as its now tradition, elrow Music is delivering another installment of our great set of Various Artists releases, celebrating our sound in such important dates for the label's hometown. This 2018 we have several comebacks, some debuts, but all-in-all, a very complete an amazing set of tracks, that are perfect testimony of the great moment elrow Music is living right now, thanks to you, dear crowds!

Opening this compilation we find Vanilla Ice's 'All U Got (Original Mix)', a percussive, serious track built around its great and strong vocal sample, which gives it its character in the dancefloor. After it we have Supernova's delivery, 'Hot Plates (Original Mix)', a sample-heavy track from the Italian duo that many will find familiar, based around percussion and with almost no melodies in the soundscape. Another highlight is Guille Placencia and George Privatti's 'Whiskas (Original Mix)', a track in which La Pera Records bosses encompass elrow Music's character and sound signature to perfection, with that simplicity and straightforward proposal, that builds the track around the hip-hopish vocal loop, giving this track true dancefloor character. We also have DJ Dep this time, with his 'Carry On (Original Mix)', in which he manages to tilt the bullseye with his more playful take, thanks to the wooden percussion, the vocal treatment and - specially the robot-like loop found by the end of the track -. Closing the compilation we have a big highlight of this release, LondonGround's 'Franklin (Original Mix)', a track with a great progression, brass percussion, a very interesting synth melody that goes along the vocal line and an intriguing set of FX, making it the one of the most interesting tracks of the comp.

Macs is back! Well to be more precise: Macs Cortella hasn't been here yet, but now he is and rhymes don't lie. Well and even if it didn't rhyme - just play 'Back In The Game' on your local CDJ and you know instantly: it's a captivating bassline, it's a captivating chant, you know it's gonna work on your floor and if you're not quite sure then listen to Freiboitar's remix. His rework is even deeper than the original but nevertheless a real head nodder. Irresistible. Still questions? Don't get me stared about this Macs guy though. There's only 'One Direction' for him and that's right down that alley there. This one is straight up and straight ahead. We will hear so much more of him and we will enjoy it. That's an order.
