With a legendary career that spans over twenty years, Rich NxT is one of FUSEs original residents, where he developed and sharpened his gnarly, gritty and raw sound, a trademark of his productions that he carried throughout the titled 9 Lives EP. Tuddy kickdrums, rumbling low ends, and tight, crisp grooves pave the way for two hypnotic rolling originals to set the vibe in any circumstances in pure NxT fashion.

Airtime Records returns with its 31st transmission - a slick four-tracker from Amsterdam-based producer Luis Ripa, a key member of the rising Naked collective. Known for his tight, infectious cuts rooted in minimal house, Luis steps up with the Freaky Behavior EP. On the flip, Tripmastaz delivers a weighty reinterpretation of Freaky Behavior, stripping it down and dialing in a hypnotic, analog edge that pushes the energy deeper into after-hours territory.

Whoyostro welcomes Jake Tomas and Paul HG with Spark, a deep, stripped-back Tech cut primed for the late-night dancefloor. The original mix hits hard with pulsating low-end, funky synth chops and a swinging groove, while a catchy female vocal hook ties it all together. This ones a real basement stomper, ready to take over the underground. The remixes bring fresh energy. Lauren Steel injects her upbeat Minimal/Deep Tech House spin with rolling grooves, a massive bassline, funky synths, and airy pads that pack the track with plenty of club-ready energy. At just 20 years old, Piero Acinapura is already carving out a blend of raw, sharp tech grooves with releases on respected imprints including Take Notes, CUFF, and Sound D’Elite, and early support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Joseph Capriati, and Toman. Rooted in the sounds of Milan, his style continues to evolve through shows across Italy and Europe, and he now readies his biggest release to date with a first appearance on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings.

Spanning three dynamic cuts, Acinapura’s ‘Lowrider’ EP captures his young, creative spirit across diﬀerent moods and moments. The title track was inspired by a Spanish interview he stumbled upon discussing a rave party. Sampling and reworking the spoken word amongst a bouncy, driving groove, the result is a lively percussive cut that feels fresh and spontaneous.
Next up, ‘Skate Park’ leans into more experimental territory. Looking to fuse old-school sounds with modern club energy, Acinapura layers gritty drums and warped vocals into a rugged, oﬀ-kilter groove, resulting in something raw, unexpected, and totally dancefloor-ready after rounds of testing and refinement. Rounding out the package, ‘Jam’ was created with the club in mind.
Stripped-back, sharp, and focused, it delivers another no-nonsense rhythm designed to lock in late-night crowds, tailored for the kind of gigs where every detail matters. A confident and versatile debut, the EP sees Piero Acinapura bring his emerging sound to Blackflag Recordings with style, marking another big step forward for this talented newcomer.

Since it dropped last month, Claptone’s new single ‘In the Night’ has been picking up considerable stream, becoming Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1 and notching up a quick 1m Spotify plays. Now MK, Illyus & Barrientos and Lindstrom & Prins Thomas offer up three late-night interpretations of Claptone’s original. Detroit house legend MK goes deep and dark with great panache, whilst Glasgow’s Illyus & Barrientos once again deliver the kind of powerful peak-time club cut their name is becoming synonymous with. Finally, Norwegian’s Lindstrom & Prins Thomas spin the original into a 10-minute disco epic.

With spring time hitting up and summer season already on our minds, we, at elrow Music, continue doing what we know best to keep the eager ravers dancing: another banger EP of pure tech house sounds. Our 129th reference is delivered by a debuting British duo in elrow Music's ranks, Tuff London. They just handed us 'Got That EP', a two tracker with an added remix by Mancunian Mason Maynard.

The work opens with the title track, 'Got That (Original Mix)', a track with a nice progression, that builds itself adding more elements to the soundscape, with a deep and strong bassline that gives a powerful character to the song, along the groovy vocal loop that travels along the track, developing into a structure many will recognize thanks to the amazing samples used.

Then we have Mason's remix from the title track, 'Got That (Mason Maynard Remix)', in which the promising young producer takes the vocals and use them since the begging of the track with the same character, but starting with full force, and using the bassline with the same deep intentions, but giving the track a more danceable and techier progression.

Closing the EP, we have 'Move (Original Mix)', in which the duo builds up their narrative from scratch, with the same kind of structure as the opening title, with that 90s vibe that is created thanks to the vocals, yet the progression is more dancefloor orientated, making this a great transient track for any moment.

With another great delivery in elrow Music, we say goodbye to April and say hello to May. Summer is almost here, so stay tuned for big things we have under our sleeves.
