Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: You only get out what you put in. Find space to contribute to your scene before you expect anything from it. Whether it's running a club night, starting a label, collaborating, sharing knowledge or promoting other artists, giving your energy to the scene is vital. I truly believe that so many of the opportunities I have received have come from the energy I have contributed - I see it as a really beautiful exchange.

I fell in love with bass, hats, smoke and strobes 33 years ago and i still seek out those moments to escape from the constraints of a regular existence….isn’t that the principle aim of club culture and electronic music?
