"I recorded this set on a Friday night at Kasheme. I got to play for the first time in our newest lounge, the Gallery. From the beginning I knew what direction I was going to play, as quiet as possible - Kasheme style. In the end I entered the venue with 4 big record cases and played for over 8 hours.  I am very happy to contribute this set to my friends from Ojoo Music Ghent for their fruit series. I hope that this set will bring peace to the listener during this times....- Soulmate

Good Fruit 17 I Soulmate (Kasheme)

Our next installment of the mix series was created by the extraordinary producer, DJ, painter, graphic designer, and the person behind Adhémar and half of Aucuba Replica, Clément Davout. 

We wanted a mix from Clément early on. His works are like instances of mastered calligraphy, emotionally rooted into the intuitive understanding of human cognition. His exquisite sense of style, meticulous production, recognizable sonic palette, and sensitivity to the smallest details make him one of the Delayed all-time favorites. It seems like everything he puts his mind on never disappoints.  

For this mix, Adhemar reworked all the tracks and did special edits to make it unique. Delicate with a flawless flow; opening up, yet introspective. It spotlights all his signature elements and is mesmerizing in a balance of engagement, relaxation, and unwinding. We fell in love with it right away and honestly think it is one of Adhémar’s finest creations. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!🌱

Simon started his career in the 90s releasing a series of atmospheric drum & bass records through his Aural Imbalance moniker. Alongside his club oriented releases, he's found time to evolve his ambient soundscapes with the Inhmost project, including a recent collaboration with ASC for Auxiliary and a new album for Huinali Recordings.

Another 5 Years of Avenue Red mix... another Avenue Red legend! For this instalment we present an extended 3-hour live session from Swiss deep boss Alessandro Crimi. All fans of Avenue Red will know Alessandro well, as he has touched our souls with his expertly crafted mixes loaded with unforgettable vibes and deepness.

The Waehlscheibe label boss was going to do a special studio mix for this one, however a smoked-out live gig in his hometown of St. Gallen last weekend was recorded and after a listen through, we decided that it fitted the bill nicely.

Here master Crimi delivers a crazy eclectic mix of deep, tripped out lounge lizard tracks, which oozes into some of the most delicious deep house and electro ever produced, then finished with a smattering of liquid drum & bass tracks.

"I didn't expect this mix to be used for a proper podcast... I only recorded it so that I had something fresh to listen to, like a playlist of some of my favourites in my collection.

I wasn't even spending all the time behind the booth as I knew the length of the tracks, so I occasionally went outside for smoke, then came in just to play the next one... that's why some of the time I didn't mix at all. German record label Giegling was born out of a mutual passion of music from a collective of friends and producers who originally set out to arrange parties in an abandoned building in Weimar for their friends. After their venue was demolished in 2008, the collective continued to make use of the Giegling brand they had formed and opened up their own vinyl only label focusing on the deeper realms of house and techno.

This mix was recorded by Ateq, a member of the Giegling collective, who will also release the labels 13th record, which features in this mix. Florian's mix is aimed to represent his personal perspective of the overall Giegling sound. In the interview we discuss the origins of Giegling and the people behind the label. We also discuss Giegling's relationship with Kann Records and the labels approach to hand crafting original artwork for their releases.
