Electronic music specialist Andrea Cichecki is an artist inspired by sound. Born in the Netherlands with Polish roots, Andrea has had a lifelong fascination with emotion, human connection and how these intertwine with music and sound.

Her atmospheric music can be described as a dreamful sound collage, lifting us away into a flow of emotions. The musical intent is built on a landscape that sweeps from intense joy to melancholic emotion, a cinematic journey of life and memories. Andrea’s main inspiration is the inner peace found through connection with nature.

For over two decades, Andrea performs as a DJ across Europe. For seven years, she lived in Berlin where she was integral to the electronic music scene and a regular DJ playing in renowned clubs such as Club der Visionaere, Hoppetosse, Tresor and About Blank. After successful releases of her own music, she knew it was time to follow her dreams.

Achieving a diploma for her studies in ‘Music Production & Sound Engineering’ at the Abbey Road Institute helped her enrich her sound, expand her creative mind and build on her professionalism.

These days Andrea is in high demand as a music producer and audio engineer: composing, mixing, mastering as well as working at Castle Studios in the countryside, just outside Dresden.

@stardub-1 is in love with electronic and Techno Music since 1995 when he listen to a set from Sven Väth at the Radio from an big event called "Hessentag". In 1999, when he was only 12 years old, he started to contribute actively in producing and experimenting with music and played at various parties – at that time rather at private and illegal ones. He made his first musical attempts using a Play Station. While his mates were playing Super Mario and Pac Man, he tried to get crazy sounds out of the console and he was quite successful at it. In 2006 he released his first record "The art of M" on Weave Music. And just at its predecessor "Anin", the records were played by many wellknown Djs. Matthias describes his musical style as follows: “Everything I like“. He plays everything from Ambient and Trip Hop stuff to House and Techno – everything he likes, depending on the mood. But in the clubs he mostly goes ahead in a pretty strict and determined way: "it’s got to make people dance! it has to be groovy!" .

Raw recording on Thursday 19th January 2023, great fun night full of optimism and top class music live @ Café Bakeliet, Rotterdam, Netherlands. What an amazing bar vibe and record store Micha has created there since I last saw him in his native Amsterdam in 2019! It's really worth a visit for anyone.

Picture taken out of a taxi window in downtown Rotterdam on my way to see Micha, where he awaits spinning delicious, trippy trip-hop vibes on a wooden stool. Perfect craft beers, cloudy Dutch wines and other local delights were served up over the 3 hours, amid philosophical chats about life, earth, geopolitics, the end etc... don't expect the smoothest of mixing. You can't have it all!! 🤣 

The next night I was very happy to meet Alessandro Crimi and Ruben from Stately Records there for some drinks and spliffs before the Saturday session where we all descended upon Amsterdam to see, hear and feel the amazing event with https://soundcloud.com/dubtommy1, https://soundcloud.com/statelymusic, https://soundcloud.com/alessandro_crimi and https://soundcloud.com/rogergerressen.
