From listening to my first rave tape, the sounds introduced to me, blew my young mind. Fast forward to many years later I met a group of like minded friends who had turntables that I could play on which started my desire to learn to play. Whilst attending the underground raves I met a group of friends who was interested in forming a sound system, which became the notorious Koalition Soundsystem which played at various raves across the country. After the raves died down I had the opportunity to present various internet radio shows inviting local talent to play alongside me for many years. As well as playing at clubs and festivals across the country. Lately I have joined up with a group of friends which then became, True F'RMS! Where we have been doing livestreams on internet radio station and studios like Rough Tempo, Dose radio and Silverback studios as well as a few others. Also we had a ep come out on Rawdio recordings as well as some forthcoming releases.

I'm a raving reposter, mostly of dnb and it's family of sub genres, tho branch into bass and psychedelia of all sorts, and mostly long play mixes, podcastes etc to spread the good sound of those awesome producers and dj's out there. Especially women dj/producers and other genders, non binary. Support your live local dj's and producers too 🔥 eyes on like a spider.

EQ50 is a collective of women working towards fairer representation within drum and bass since 2018.

After stepping to the fore in 2018, Averse has quickly made a name for herself across the UK’s drum & bass scene. Quick-fire mixing and razor sharp selection sit at the forefront of her sets, with her pallet exploring the gaps between the rugged, ‘Quarantine’-esque rollers and the new school ‘Bristol’ inspired tech funk flavours.

Averse’s infectious personality permeates her DJing style, resulting in a truly unique sonic identity that is unafraid to dig deep when the time is right. 

Her accomplishments speak for themselves with performance credits including;  Shogun Audio, Overview, Free From Sleep, Outlook UK and Love Saves The Day, playing at venues such as Fabric, Studio 338, The Steel Yard, E1, The Cause and Motion along the way.

Tastemakers in the scene value Averse's skills and selections, having featured on guest mixes for Sofa Sound, Kyrist and the Collective show on SWU. Averse has recently started her own mix series 'FRS' showcasing the funky, rolling side of drum and bass, taking you on a journey through her selections and featuring guest mixes from artists who represent this sound.
