Berlin based SLV DE makes a welcome return to Soma with his latest release, Gestern und Heute EP. Having gradually built himself to be one of the most exciting prospects on the Soma roster, SLV DE continues to impressive with his dark yet emotive sound. This release also features a spectacular remix from rising UK Techno act Cleric.

The melancholic Artefakt opens the EP with its wonderfully crafted syncopated beats and cold, haunting synth work. Kreuzwege has SLV back on four to the floor territory and working a real dance floor burning as tweeked out leads are bolstered by typical powerful drum work from SLV. Jetzt keeps things moving at a fast pace yet brings a more emotive side. Intense percussive workouts drive the tracks with fleeting pads taking the tone of the tracks to other heights. Cleric takes on Artefakt and delivers a suitably punchy, furious rework yet still retains the essence of the original.

Another unique release has SLV DE standing out from the crowd with his distinctive sound.

The Nursery Series kicks of the new year with the “Transient Response EP”, an impressive sum comprised of four equally amazing parts, by four very talent artists. 
First up are frequent label contributors Hertz Collision, who kick-off in style with “Loaded”, a no-nonsense four-to-the-floor club banger, that is sure to set the tone for everything that is to follow. A challenge that is readily accepted by A Thousand Details, who’s "Apollo 12” burns as powerful as the spaceship it is named after. An otherworldly experience that is kept in overdrive by Uun and his track “Chrysalis”, delivering his signature blend of spacing pads and driving percussion, paving the way for newcomer Stratum to close off the EP in proper fashion. His proven talent as a DJ to set mood on any dance floor is perfectly transcended into his debut track “A Fraction of Time”. All adding up to a superb grand total, making this EP an absolute must-have for the upcoming season.

Berlin's FLASH Recordings is a leading underground imprint of the finest techno, headed up by Florian Meindl, and admired around the world. The latest release contains four original works plus a special bonus track that was previously a vinyl only selection on FLASH, and that was featured on Fiedel's recent Berghain 08 Mix CD for Ostgut Ton. Italian-Berliner known as Avgusto, who is a key artist of FLASH with numerous EP's and remixes for the label. His contributions can also be logged for the likes of Kaputt, Elektrax, !Organism and Amazone also, as he continues to be noted as an exciting producer. The tracks range from raving, high octane club weapons, to more hypnotic, driving sounds that have a powerful and gritty vibe all round.

Hailing from Budapest, Steam Shape make their OFF Recordings debut.

The title track „Freefall“ is an apocalyptic peaktime bomb; heavily distorted vocals laid on top of a relentless groove.

„Power Of Imagination“ also features an infectious vocal, paired with distorted synth stabs.

The third original „Mass“ follows up in similarly energetic fashion, replacing the vocal with equally effective synths.

OFF mainstay Toni Dextor offers a remix, taking a no-nonsense-approach in his unforgiving dark and toolish style.
