Tāndāv Musicā, the brainchild of Halifax's own DJ Jay Vyas, emerges from the picturesque landscape of Nova Scotia, Canada. Jay's love for electronic house music and entrancing rhythms took root during his formative teenage years, forging a deep connection with the art form. Venturing further into the musical domain, he transcended boundaries, experimenting across genres like EDM, Trance, Techno, Melodic, Organic, Afro, and Indo-House. He is also an ardent listener of sub-continental music like Sufi, Indian classical, and Bollywood. Equipped with cutting-edge software tools, Jay embarked on a creative odyssey, unraveling the intricate tapestry of sound.

Influenced by his South Asian heritage and fueled by a passion for bridging cultural gaps, Jay taps into a vast sonic spectrum. Rejecting confinement to any single genre, his artistic vision thrives on forward-thinking motives. With meticulous craftsmanship, he shapes expansive textures and captivating percussive elements, intending to evoke a sense of liberation both on and off the dance floor.
