Event organizer and respected DJ, he’s also the mastermind behind the Magie Noire events and label. His DJ style quickly stood out: groovy, raw, hypnotic, and timeless — rooted in Chicago’s warehouse legacy and Detroit’s avant-garde spirit.

Magie Noire marked the next step. Launched in the early 2010s, the concept blended visual arts and cutting-edge electronic music, gaining serious traction in top venues across Paris and the South of France. In 2023, he launched his own label, Magie Noire Music, bridging new talents with established remixers from the electronic scene.

Rafael Reworks ‘All By Design’ into a Groovy Indie Dance Weapon.

Get Physical Music presents a fresh twist on N-You-Up & Boogie Vice’s collaboration with Joshua Morris as Rafael delivers a stripped-back yet infectious remix of ‘All By Design’.

Where the original leaned into warm piano grooves and a sun-soaked house feel, Rafael takes the track in a new direction, reshaping it into a tight, minimal Indie Dance cut. A funky, rolling bassline anchors the groove while crisp percussion and subtle drum effects add movement and tension.
