This is a short demo of a new Russian filter box I just bought!
The strings and breaks go through the two different filter channels separately and then the acid track is multitracked on top of it. I don't touch the 303's filter at all, it is the Polyvox-filter that does it! I let the 303 CV out control the cutoff and then some fast high resonance LFO modulation by the Polyrhythm internal LFO, same on the strings.

Electro Studies Pt. 13 - Gosub

The album is titled Timespan and is by the veteran Pittsburgh artist Shawn Rudiman and will be released on November 24th worldwide on 2xLP and digital. The album is a carefully curated journey through almost 20 years of Shawn's music productions. The tracks collected here--the majority of which have not been heard outside of Shawn's studio--showcase a producer with seldom matched knowledge of studio techniques, while also hinting at his world renowned live performances. Having access to a vault of hundreds of unreleased compositions, we believe this is an important step in documenting Shawn's contribution to Pittsburgh and American dance music. 

Artist Statement: "All of these tracks are simply snapshots of my life moments. They go from base-level warehouse to more cerebral sophistication. So, take them as such. Timespan sums it up well. Hand-made synthesizers, drum synthesizers and signal processing hardware. 

ADS-7 - analog drum synthesizer inspired by the drum machines/synthesizers of the 70s-80s with a built-in 32-step sequencer and MIDI control. It has 65 controls, 4 switches and 28 buttons with which you can have a wide control over the sound parameters, sequencer and MIDI. It has individual audio outputs and individual trigger inputs for each of the seven sounds.

MBS-100 - monophonic bass synthesizer inspired by synthesizers produced in the soviet era times while having the flexibility, MIDI control and compact package of the 21st century. It has 19 knobs, 3 switches and 4 buttons with which you can control the parameters of the sound and MIDI.

MAD-5 mk2 - analog drum synthesizer which is inspired by the sounds of the 20th century soviet drum machines while having the flexibility, MIDI control and compact package of the 21st century.

Cosmwave FX - multi-effects processor consisting of three separate effects — phaser, delay and flanger, which can be used separately as well as in combination.

PolyRhythm – dual analog filters + phaser. It has two voltage controlled filters and a low-frequency oscillator made from authentic Soviet components. It has 8 knobs, 5 switches and 2 buttons with which you can control the parameters of the sound. Both filters are made of components and circuitry in accordance with well-known Soviet synthesizers, produced in the USSR back in the 1980s. (DISCONTINUED)
