A.S.I. Records Inc., LLC was founded in 2011 with the efforts of two artists from Philadelphia, PA (then known as Illy D and Genesis aka Sadam Backwards; now known as Ras Illy and GSB, respectively) who met in Santa Fe, NM in 2007 . After acknowledging their undeniable chemistry and devotion to their crafts and each other, the duo formed a group by the name of Inkblot. 

Intent on releasing their project (appropriately entitled "Past Due") they worked closely with Santa Fe native Producer/Artist most recently known as "Nympho" to record and mix the record. However, as with many journeys, obstacles arise at untimely instances, and the "Past Due" project was never officially released. Shortly thereafter, the Inkblot members would find themselves back to their individual identities.

Years later, the duo crossed paths again, and instantly renewed their dedication to each other and their personal, evolved mission: Uplift!

From there, they formed the group known as Audiosociety, and founded the record label known as A.S.I. Records in early 2011, releasing their first record, "Public Service Announcement (Volume 1)," soon thereafter ..

Their mission perseveres to this day: 

1) Never stop asking, "Why, " until your reasoning is satisfied
2) Strengthen community and family relationships and interactions with Love, Compassion, and Truth, and
3) Never be afraid to confront the ails of society and impediments to growth with confidence and fearlessness.

These ideals consolidate into their one word objective/motto: "Uplift!"

The music listed here is but a small sample of their total portfolio. 

Since the formation of A.S.I. Records, they have released numerous projects, the latest being GSB's "New Age EP" and Ras Illy's collaboration with Re-syted (Albuquerque-Native), entitled "Erase the Canvas EP," which symbolizes a prelude to their upcoming LP,--to be released at a later time.
