Evalyn is a Berlin based creative engineer with a focus on sound. 
First as a booker and now as a DJ, she is the cofounder of SWOON (@eternalswoon) a mix series focused on ethereal yet drum heavy sounds inspired by percussive rave culture and releasing audio and visual umami with each full moon. 
She is also a co-founder of Clean Scene a climate action collective exploring alternative futures for the dance music scene.

We are back in June, and are expanding our servings to Soup by Day & Soup by night, to accommodate all desires and moods amongst those that know. The mix here gives a flavour of the Soup by Day sound

Ekko og Østre slår et slag for resident djen. Rollen som residerende dj og fast formidler av musikk på en klubb er et historisk viktig element for utviklingen av elektronisk dansemusikk.

Men en platesamling full av techno og andre relaterte leftfield-sjangre, her Julie Silset banet vei for et gjennomført, stilsikkert og særegent univers av rytmer og lyder de siste 10 årene i Bergen. 

Ekko og Østre har jobbet mye med Julie over tid, både gjennom bestillingsverk, men også samarbeid med plateselskapet Ideophone Records, som hun driver sammen med Rudi Valdersnes og Jiska Huizing.

Som produsent er hun kjent for særegne rytme kreasjoner, som ofte er minimalistiske men allikevel interaktive produksjoner. Hun er selvsagt en rutinert dj og settene hennes bygger ofte rundt en historiefortelling fortalt gjennom hypnotisk perkusjon, industrielle teksturer og rett-i-fletta bangers.

Monster, a seasoned DJ from Poznań, Poland, is making waves in Europe with her diverse music style, including trance, techno, and more. Starting her career in Poznań's anarchist squat, she's now part of Oramics, promoting diversity in electronic music. Her accomplishments include winning a DJ contest by Catz 'n Dogz, performing at major festivals, and recording mixes for Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, Mixmag and more. She's played at renowned venues and remains a resident at Projekt LAB, while also hosting DJ workshops at feminist events. This mix was recorded @ Fiber Festival Garage Noord, Amsterdam.

Lee Gamble is one of the most adventurous producers, label bosses and DJs in the electronic world. Over the course of four album projects and many EPs he has explored the ghost of jungle, abrasive ambient and textural techno in thrilling and compelling ways. Formerly releasing on Pan, he now heads up his own UIQ label and with it has curated some of techno’s most exciting new sounds. As well as DJing, he is behind a regular NTS radio show and tours a mesmeric live A/V show that always encourages you to escape and get lots in unfamiliar musical worlds. 

The two hour mix he serves up for is the freaky, left of centre post-rave adventure you would expect. It’s disorientating and non linear. Initially it focuses on texture and mood more than groove, then his jungle roots bubble up, and just as you think you know where you are going, Gamble pulls back and descends into bleak cinematic soundtracks. Unpredictable and wilfully contrary, like his own challenging productions it is a masterclass in sonic subversion that reveals more with each new listen.

His mix contains an hour of electronics, electro and breakbeat tracks driven by interstellar soundscapes & intellectual rhythms There's a new tune from DJ Normal 4 on there to look out for, as well as a couple by Another One whom he highly regards

Avtomat for Couleur3 (Swiss public radio)

Not your run-of-the-mill working-class Eastern European non-binary DJ. The producer, vocalist, but also visual and digital artist strives for innovative sound design and visceral body response, despite (or maybe coupled with) raw emotion that permeates their musical output. They’re a proud member of the Ciężki Brokat crew (with whom they run the annual Warsaw Pride official afterparty), ex-Oramics member (2019-2022), co-creator of Radio Kapitał, Polish ambassador for Keychange and SHAPE Platform 2021 resident.

Their own music has morphed several times throughout the last 15 years – from industrial or purely synthetic timbres, through polyphonic singing with Pleśni to a perplexing fusion of rhythmically and sonically jagged compositions, bass-heavy club tracks on their EPs, 'Gusła (Human Rites)' on Tańce, a limited vinyl release on London-based 51-53 Records, 'Doolska' and the latest, more experimental 'Lamenty' EP.

They presented their music during numerous festivals (Unsound, CTM, Schiev, Up To Date, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Les Siestes Electroniques, Audioriver) and an assortment of clubs (including the legendary Berghain) in Poland and abroad (Berlin, London, Prague, Oslo, Copenhagen, Ljubljana). They remixed tracks by Kamp and Baasch, recorded mixes for Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, HӦR and CRACK, composed and created impromptu live music for interactive theatre plays: Method of National Constellations, quadraphonic sound for Jawić się, music for a Women’s Strike street theatre Manifesta and original score for Ideologix, a US-written and directed queer opera.

In the club their seventeen-year experience of supporting queer, anti-fascist and underground scenes results in an almost annoyingly disparate selection of the most forward-thinking sound offered by today’s scene. In their series of DJ-sets and club nights they blend unusual rhythmic patterns kicked up a notch with their improvised vocals.
