No need to introduce LA-based techno legend Drumcell to our cast of RYC fellows, the man’s CV speaks for itself. Hard-hitting and brainy, Drumcell’s signature is one of mixed essence, ruggedly agressive yet endowed with levels of production intricacies and future-facing relevancy that can not but command admiration, as evidenced by his background of top-level efforts for Chris Liebing’s CLR, Blank Code and his own imprint, Droid Recordings. True to his ubiquitous style, Drumcell treats us to a dizzyingly vibrant mix of high-powered, kick-heavy industrial thunder and knee-buckling bass manoeuvres, which promises to have the club door's hinges flying off and the building’s foundations shaken askew. A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Lindsey Herbert is a talented techno DJ and producer who has become a recognized name in San Francisco and beyond thanks to her unique sets that blend dark, deep, and heavy textures with psychedelic elements and ethereal melodies. She has gained residencies with Robot Ears and Direct to Earth and played gigs in various international venues. Lindsey has released multiple tracks and remixes on various labels, including her debut solo EP on Ascetic Limited and a remix of Nate Manic's 'You Will Not Ruin Me' on vinyl and her first solo vinyl EP in September 2022. Lindsey Herbert is an artist to keep an eye on in the techno scene.

Temudo and Cravo are known for their intense and powerful techno sound that combines influences from classic and contemporary techno. As members of the Hayes Collective, they are part of a Portuguese collective of techno artists that also includes artists like VIL and Nørbak. The collective aims to promote techno culture in Portugal and abroad through events, releases, and collaborations. In addition to Hayes, both have released on Klockworks, while Temudo's music also bears the seal of Blueprint or Warm Up and Cravo released on SK11 or Be As One.

We've got a hypnotically pacy late-night techno affair from a rising Dutch DJ/producer. A fast-growing name in the European techno community, @lauravanhal's sets are renowned for their intricate musical selection, always able to deliver a strong and mind-bending groove. This flawless 60-minute mix perfectly embodies her style, showcasing an abundance of those captivating elements.

Cravo, is the solo project of Pedro Cravo, member of the tag team -2 [menosdois] and one of the founding members of Hayes Collective.

From deep to tough, his sets and live acts are designed for the dancefloor, oscillating between the various aspects of techno, house and electronic music in general. All crafted in order to take dancers on a journey full of groove and psychedelic loops.

Born in Lisbon, graduated in audiovisual arts, he had his first contact with music production, DJing and notion of rhythms and instruments through Dub and Reggae in mid 2007. Also being in love with Blues, Jazz and Afro Music, and in a phase of great inspiration, he created his first musical project, namely PeterSmiling - a heteronym. In this era he was also a part of the collective I’n’High Sound System and starting to compose and produce his first original music.

A first interest in producing and playing techno sparked in 2010. Influenced by his schoolmate, Vasco Guerreiro, who introduced him to this - at the time - new world of sounds. Through digging deep in the history of this new world, Cravo acquired more of a vision of becoming an electronic music artist (and also a bit of a raver). The musical influences at that time were ranging from techno in various forms to house - especially the blossoming genre of minimal - further to Psy Trance. All these musical influences have opened new frontiers both on the creative and production side.

With the afforementioned Vasco Guerreiro, Cravo subsequently came together to form -2 [menosdois] in 2011. In the following years the two would get to know their fellow comrades whom they now form Hayes Collective with: Temudo and VIL.
