Capping off a strong run of guests on Bright Patterns is a collaborative set by brothers Karl & Ken Meier. Though these exceptional humans are immensely talented as individuals, it’s an honor to hear them perform together and in this experimental, ambient zone curated for the morning. As cofounders of Standards & Practices with Jonathan Krohn (Stave), Karl and Ken will feature forthcoming music from their label, plus unreleased tracks on like-minded imprints such as Downwards and Monastral. Standards & Practices continues this year with new releases by Krohn/Mjolsness and Stave.

Cafe de la Jungle returns with Tuvan Spirits EP, exploring further his fascination with shamanic practices in highly dynamic sound environments. While his excellent debut Dancing with Cicadas was rife with dangerous and mysterious rhythms, the Kraków-based producer takes a more laid-back approach this time. Built around cavernous ambiance and bass notes played with such grace they paint a picture of a dance ritual so subtle, it’s visceral and highly narrative at the same time.

Helsinki AWC affiliate Lemont explores dense and icy deepness with two slow-rolling ambient trips.

Monument premieres Lemont`s track "Submerged" from the upcoming release "Demi Monde 2/2", which will be released on the 24th of October.

Space, overwhelmed by the speed of the sound waves, sinks into a black cube. And it escapes into another dimension, revolving around the orbit of a new planet, the one of hearing.
Esadimensional is an extension, hypnotised by the control of time, towards the sixth dimension, where sound and organic particles come together, trascending the nature of cosmos".
