Omoiyari (思いやり) is a Japanese concept that roughly translates to "consideration" or "empathy." It embodies the idea of being aware of others' feelings and needs without them having to express them explicitly. It’s a philosophy of life where one acts with kindness and respect, anticipating what might make others feel comfortable and valued.

Sybil is a storyteller, her sets bring listeners along on exciting voyages through the imagination. At the core of Sybil’s mystical selections is an emotional depth, textural clarity and a sense of space.
Equally adept at playing propulsive deep techno, as she is at exploring hazy breaks, sumptuous downtempo, soaring trance, expansive drone, and even full-throttle drum and bass, Sybil’s sets often criss-cross through all of these genres and more, as she guides dancers on journeys which are emotive, thrilling and ultimately revitalising. 
Based in London, a notable UK-flair for genre-fluidity and diagonal rhythms can be found within her psychedelic techno excursions. Sybil’s DJing has taken her across revered events and venues on the global stage including: Dekmantel, Waking Life, Paral·lel, Positive Education, De School, Berlin Atonal, WHOLE, Dimensions, La Nature, Mo:Dem, Harmony, Nowadays (New York), Transcendance (Japan), Miscellania (Melbourne) and ZVUK (Kazakhstan).
Whilst Sybil’s club sets are often geared for energetic dance floor exhilaration, her numerous mixes are notable for their highly visual narrative arcs. Subtly accelerating and decelerating between disparate BPMs, she stitches together music from a broad palette of textures, contrasting new finds with long forgotten gems to create memorable journeys which are both rewarding and entrancing. Sybil has released singular mixes for platforms such as Monument, Crack Magazine, Patterns of Perception, Dimensions, Ute, INVEINS and Mysteries of the Deep. 
Ambient sets form a core part of Sybil’s repertoire, and she also curates the much-loved ambient, drone and experimental mix series, Deep Mind Music, which she has run since 2017.

Contributing our latest episode is London’s ANNX, a regular figure within the city’s cutting-edge undercurrent whose many contributions include co-curation of the Whomp, Perspectives, and once-shrouded Magick events, and a residency at the beloved Above Below festival. Anna’s tireless dedication to the scene goes hand-in-hand with her unmistakable talent behind the decks, as evidenced by an impressive repertoire of mixes and set recordings, and which I was fortunate enough to witness first-hand last summer in the Chilterns. Here Anna demonstrates her well-honed craft over the course of two meticulously plotted hours, diving seamlessly into manifold forms of deep, heavy psychedelia before emerging in a wave of euphoric bliss. A Walking Contradiction resurfaces with a new release by their friend & collaborator Katatonic Silentio, channeling a collection of tracks submerged in echoes and pressure-shaped pulses. AWC011 traces fluid architectures built from delay, decay, and deep resonance—each composition unfolding like sediment in motion. Sounds sway with tidal pull, suspended in chambers where space thickens and time refracts. Basslines emerge like sonar beneath shifting layers, while percussive elements flicker at the edges, softened by current and drag.

Elastic and disorientated, these underwater constructions are tuned to the language of depth and dissolution.

A few thoughts from Jasmin:

Hey Jasmin, how’s it going? What's been happening for you lately?
I’m well, I’m currently living between Lisbon and London this summer which has been a dream! Great food, beach sessions and writing music. It’s been a wild 3 months and I’m just getting myself ready for the seasons changing!

What can you tell us about your mix?
For this mix I wanted to mould my love of groovy minimal and psychedelic tones for the moody season ahead, which is usually my signature sound! I have been producing a lot of this recently and some of my unreleased bits are exclusively inside 💜

⁠Is there a track or tracks that are extra special for you?
I’d probably say my own productions are the special to me as it reminds me of how much I have developed as a producer and artist. I love connecting with the tracks and being able to create my own atmospheric world for listeners to get lost in. But one track that I always come back to is "bluep" by Underground City Loop (a producer from Aus). I have been playing this track for years and it has every sonic element you'd want from a track - low end sub groove with dark melodic synths.
