"The approach behind this mix is different to what I normally do, it starts from another point of view. 

I decided to dedicate this mix to one of my inspirations and true musical pioneers Steve Roach. The whole mix is based around his work and tries to balance it with work of other artists and friend producers who are subconsciously following the same musical path as he did. It contains a full range of atmospheric shape shifting rhythms and well blended, storytelling fractals that emerge into a variation of seasons and styles. I'm trying to earmark what Roach did within his musical work."

Jephta Wattimena, known as Jephta, is a Dutch DJ based in Amsterdam.

As a resident artist with the Rotterdam-based collective Embodiment, Jephta has carved out a reputation for his hypnotic, immersive sound that fuses driving beats with experimental textures, setting him apart as a rising talent in the electronic music scene. His performances stand out through a hybrid setup and mastery of four-deck CDJs, enabling seamless, layered soundscapes that make his sets both dynamic and captivating.

Jephta's career has been deeply rooted in supporting local music communities across the Netherlands. From intimate community events to large-scale festivals like Awakenings and acclaimed club venues such as De School, Garage Noord, RADION and Lofi, he has made his mark in diverse settings. Her journey ends with a dive into the abyss of Deep and Dub Techno, where she dissolves and reborn. OCCA has been organizing ARCHIV for over 10 years at the sacred club, Precious Hall in Sapporo, located in the northernmost region of Japan, Hokkaido. With his own party ARCHIV at the core, he has been expanding his scope of activities from all over Japan to the rest of the world. As an entity of singularity, he aims to transform time/space/spirit into unknown realms by arranging multifaceted elements such as the spiritualism of Psychedelic Music, the storytelling nature of House Music, the sci-fi dystopian feel of Detroit Techno and the trance of Minimal Music in a three- dimensional way through his deft mixing.
His rare presence has been recognized and he has been invited to play at DJ NOBU's Future Terror, Mindgames' The Labyrinth/Balance, and in recent years, has been invited to parties in Asia, Spekki Webu's Mirror Zone 5 Years Tour in EU, System Revival and Georgia's prestigious Bassiani, his circle of resonance continues to spread out.
