which is shaping up to be hotter than ever! 
Here we are in our 23rd episode of the podcast series, and it's time to introduce one of the rising stars of the Milanese scene, Atoloi, a DJ and producer who has no qualms about mixing genres and styles in his own productions and mixes. His releases on V/A labels such as A.biotic, here on our recent ACCENTVA008, on Stagno Records... set him apart with his original, sensitive and poly-rhythmic approach to music. Atoloi offers us a magnificent 'Dub Infused' set, just the way we like them, so we don't forget to take our time, to savour and seize the moment on the banks of a river or on the beach, in the shade of a coconut tree.

Enter the world of SBS through his latest mix for SKIN, where low frequencies, irregular intensities, and rhythmic patterns are fused with glitchy atmospheres. His music style is defined by these unique elements, creating an unpredictable experience.

SBS draws inspiration from conversations with others about music, blending styles, and observing performances of artists who approach music in new ways. 

“I often envision imagined scenarios I want to convey with sounds. Or at least, try to convey. Sometimes it can be accurate or it can lead to new situations. For this set , I tried to convey sounds that resonate with a high voltage substation which operates at max capacity, moments before total system failure. I'm making it intense.”

His sets are curated with tracks that feature novel sounds, low frequencies that resonate with both mind and body, and rhythmic patterns that surprise. SBS enjoys playing tracks in unexpected ways, such as drastically altering the bpm to create a different feel, or combining music that wouldn’t typically go together. The result? An experience that makes listeners think, "What am I listening to right now?"—a blend of energy and combinations that resonate with the subconscious mind, turning introspective or absent-minded.

Samuel van Dijk steps forward as Multicast Dynamics to present his next full length of mesmerising deepness on A Walking Contradiction. As ever, when van Dijk puts on his Multicast Dynamics disguise, he abducts his listeners to places where breathtaking soundscapes and pitch black ambience take over. When you are in these imaginary places he creates a compelling story that is both exhilarating and soothing at the same time.

Soundtrack for Something That Does Not Exist is nothing less. It's a journey across dark scapes and icy glitches, richly detailed with topnotch sound design that creates a spacious flow throughout. The subtle rhythms that appear once in a while show some overlap with recent VC-118A productions, which makes this a very complete piece of work that shows the excellence of a producer that never stops improving himself.
